  Overview

  A high-growth SaaS and Fintech company headquartered in Riyadh is seeking an experiencedAccounting Directorto lead its accounting function and strengthen financial governance across multiple markets. The company is entering a critical phase ofIPO preparation, and this role will be pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of financial reporting.

  Role Scope

  The Accounting Director will oversee all accounting operations across all subsidiaries in various countries, leading a big team of accountants. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in IFRS with hands-on leadership experience in multi-entity, fast-paced organizations.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the regional accounting organization to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations including consolidation, general ledger, payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
  • Drive the monthly and quarterly closing cycles, ensuring timely and reliable financial reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements across all jurisdictions.
  • Partner with executive leadership on IPO readiness, audits, and financial governance initiatives.
  • Strengthen internal controls and promote a culture of financial discipline and accountability.
  • Oversee and enhance ERP systems and reporting tools to support scalability and transparency.
  • Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and banks to maintain strong relationships and ensure audit readiness.

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA certification required.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive accounting leadership, preferably within SaaS, Fintech, or multi-entity groups.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-country accounting teams and consolidations.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS, internal controls, and financial audit processes.
  • ERP implementation or optimization experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
