  • Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, review, and supervision of mechanical systems for complex MEP consulting projects, ensuring compliance with design standards, safety codes, and client specifications
  • Develop detailed HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and building services system designs in coordination with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines
  • Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and technical reports prepared by project teams and external consultants
  • Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and technical audits to ensure optimal system performance and cost efficiency
  • Provide supervision and technical oversight during construction to verify design intent, respond to site queries, and review as-built submissions
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution and regulatory compliance
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in mechanical design principles, quality standards, and consulting best practices
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical design and supervision within the MEP consulting industry
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting system design and coordination in compliance with local and international codes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software (e.g., HAP, Elite, or similar tools)
  • Strong understanding of design review processes, tender documentation, and construction supervision procedures
  • Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring design quality, technical accuracy, and timely delivery
