Description
:
Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with dairy industry regulations and international food safety standards.
Oversee all quality control processes across production, packaging, and storage to guarantee product consistency, safety, and traceability.
Conduct internal audits and coordinate external inspections to maintain HACCP, GMP, ISO, and other relevant certifications.
Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to address quality issues, drive corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Train and mentor QA teams to build technical competence and promote a strong quality culture throughout the organization.
Review and approve product specifications, labeling, and documentation to ensure regulatory and brand compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in quality assurance within the dairy or broader food manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and other international food safety and quality systems.
Proven ability to manage audits, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional quality initiatives.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail and process improvement.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to prepare and present reports to senior management and external stakeholders.
