About the Position:
An exceptional opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take on a strategic role in devising and implementing the financial strategy for the ISSF. The CFO will oversee the management, monitoring, and control of all fund resources, ensuring transparency, accountability, and operational excellence across all investment and financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial strategy, planning, and operations, including accounting, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls.
Advise the CEO and Management team on financial strategy, planning, budgeting, cash flow, investments, and portfolio management and long-term strategic decisions.
Drive financial policy development, risk assessment, and operational improvements leveraging ERP and BI systems.
Manage complex financing, capital markets activities, and due diligence processes.
Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, tax, and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, investors, Board members, and shareholders.
Implement and monitor internal controls, policies, procedures, and financial systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Lead forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and auditing activities.
Support investment activities, including due diligence, valuation, transaction structuring, and guidance to portfolio companies.
Monitor financial trends, provide insights for strategic decisions, and ensure alignment with ISSF objectives and World Bank procurement principles
