• Description:
  Responsibilities
  * Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans across all MEP construction activities
  * Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance
  * Monitor compliance with local safety regulations, client requirements, and project HSE standards
  * Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training for site personnel and subcontractors
  * Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions
  * Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, and management to promote a proactive safety culture
  * Maintain accurate HSE records, permits, and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews
  Qualifications
  * Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
  * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer within MEP or construction projects
  * Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems
  * Experience conducting site inspections, incident investigations, and safety reporting
  * Ability to enforce safety compliance while maintaining effective site relationships
  * Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
  * Certification in relevant HSE programs or safety training is preferred
