  Overview Our client is a leading fast-growing startup in the field of Retail and Distribution. With a strong presence in Jordan and the UAE, and an expanding client base across the GCC, they are now poised for a phased expansion across the MENA region. We are seeking a strategic, high-energy Finance Manager to spearhead financial operations, lead digital transformation, and support the CEO in scaling the business to new heights.

  Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  1. Financial Strategy & MENA Expansion: Lead the financial roadmap for scaling operations from Jordan and the UAE into broader MENA markets, ensuring fiscal readiness for regional growth.
  2. ERP Implementation & Digitalization: Direct the setup and optimization of ERP systems to streamline retail/distribution workflows and enhance data-driven decision-making.
  3. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Manage comprehensive financial reporting, ensuring all accounts meet regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions (Jordan and GCC).
  4. Team Leadership & Talent Development: Recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing finance team capable of supporting a fast-paced startup environment.
  5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Oversee cross-border cash flow, currency fluctuations, and working capital to maintain liquidity during aggressive expansion phases.
  6. Cross-Border Tax & Audit: Manage complex tax structures and external audits for entities in Jordan and the GCC, ensuring full compliance with regional laws.
  7. Process Transformation: Design and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to transform startup agility into sustainable corporate excellence.

  Candidate Profile

  • Education: Minimum BA in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience: At least 15 years of progressive experience, specifically within Retail, FMCG, or Distribution.
  • Regional Expertise: Proven track record working in both Jordan and the GCC.
  • Languages: Native-level fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Skills: Strong communicator, sharp deadline management, and experience in ERP setups.
  • Availability: Immediate joiners or those with a maximum 30-day notice period are preferred.
  • Location: Candidates can apply from inside or outside Jordan.
