As they continue to scale their operations in the region, they are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Chief Accountant to lead their financial functions in Riyadh. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity, maintaining compliance, and supporting the firm's strategic growth.

  Key Responsibilities

  The Chief Accountant will oversee the full spectrum of the accounting department, ensuring all financial activities are recorded and reported accurately.

  1. Full Accounting Cycle Management:Lead and oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets.
  2. Payroll Administration:Manage and process monthly payroll, ensuring timely disbursements and compliance with KSA labor laws.
  3. VAT, Zakat, and Tax Compliance:Ensure the company is fully compliant with GAZT regulations, managing all filings, returns, and staying updated on local tax legislation.
  4. ERP Optimization:Utilize and maintain the ERP system to ensure data integrity, streamline financial workflows, and produce real-time financial insights.
  5. Budgeting and Forecasting:Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  6. Financial Reporting:Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS.
  7. Audit and Deadlines:Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and ensure all internal and external reporting deadlines are met consistently.

  Candidate Profile

  • Education:Minimum BA in Accounting.
  • Experience:At least8 yearsof progressive accounting experience, ideally within the IT or service sector.
  • Skills:Strong ERP proficiency, expert knowledge of KSA Zakat & Tax laws, and highly organized with a deadline-driven mindset.
  • Languages:Good command of bothArabic and English.
  • Availability:Immediate joiners or those with a 30-day notice period residinginside KSA.
