Overview:
►Our client is a leading large scale company in the field of Water Treatment. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer/Technician to join their team in Amman, Jordan.
►Key Responsibilities:
•Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, motors, engines, and air compressors.
•Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
•Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential problems.
•Utilize hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks, adhering to all safety procedures.
•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), specifically AlaTool 365.
•Prepare detailed reports on maintenance work performed, equipment condition, and recommended improvements.
•Participate in risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure a safe working environment.
►Qualifications & Requirements:
•Education: Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar.
•Experience: 5-8 Years. Minimum experience in a maintenance mechanic role, specifically within the water treatment industry, and experience working within a maintenance team.
•Specific Skills: Preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair of pumps, valves, motors, engines, air compressors, welding, operation of hand and power tools, CMMS (AlaTool 365), report writing, risk management, and general computer skills.
•Languages: Arabic & English
