Our client is a leading Large company in the field of Logistics / Maritime located in Jeddah, KSA. We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join their team as a Legal and Compliance Assistant Manager to oversee legal strategy and ensure absolute regulatory adherence within their growing operations.
Legal Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business objectives while ensuring full compliance with Saudi laws, government policies, and maritime regulations.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate high-value contracts including real estate, logistics, and vendor agreements, while maintaining standardized templates.
Regulatory Liaison: Oversee legal aspects of import/export and customs clearance, acting as the primary liaison with customs and regulatory authorities.
Corporate Governance: Manage all corporate legal documentation and governance requirements, ensuring accurate regulatory filings and disclosures.
Risk Management & Litigation: Manage disputes, claims, and litigation processes, coordinating effectively with external legal counsel to mitigate organizational risk.
Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice to senior management on business transactions, strategic initiatives (M&A/Joint Ventures), and employee relations.
Departmental Leadership: Manage the legal team’s performance, oversee the department budget (approx. 100k–200k SAR), and conduct cross-functional compliance training.
Nationality: Must be a Saudi National.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar scope.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Law or a relevant field.
Licenses: Valid Legal Certifications and a license to practice in Court.
Skills: Strong knowledge of legal compliance and regulatory frameworks; proficiency in MS Office Suite and Government platforms.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English.
Joining Time: 30 days.
Location: Candidates must be currently based inside Saudi Arabia.
