Overview Our client is a leading
large-scale company in the field of
IT Solutions. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and proactive
Technical Support Engineer to join their dynamic team in Doha. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our client's IT infrastructure and ensuring seamless service delivery to their extensive portfolio of users.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
- Location: Doha, Qatar (Local candidates only)
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Manage and monitor local and cloud-based IT infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Incident Management: Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for complex hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs.
- System Administration: Execute administrative tasks across Windows and Linux environments, including user management and system updates.
- Network Support: Configure and troubleshoot network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) to maintain secure and stable connectivity.
- Security Oversight: Implement and monitor security protocols (aligned with CEH/CISSP standards) to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
- Disaster Recovery: Assist in the development and testing of backup and recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, inventory, and support tickets for internal auditing and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of technical support experience within the IT Solutions industry.
- Certifications: Possession of MCSA, MCSE, Linux+, RHCE, CCNA, CCNP, CEH, or CISSP is highly desired.
- Languages: Full professional fluency in Arabic and English.
- Availability: Immediate joiners or those with a maximum 30-day notice period preferred.
Employment Details
- Working Days: 5 days per week.
- Salary Range: QAR 10,000 – QAR 15,000 (Total Package).
