Description:
►Responsibilities
•Lead and manage all maintenance activities across the broiler processing plant and farm facilities, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and reliability
•Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for processing lines, utilities, and farm equipment
•Oversee troubleshooting and rapid resolution of mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize production downtime
•Manage maintenance teams, including engineers, supervisors, and technicians, driving performance, safety, and skill development
•Plan and control maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective operations
•Collaborate with production, quality, and farm operations teams to align maintenance schedules with operational needs and biosecurity requirements
•Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency, reduce breakdowns, and extend asset lifecycle
►Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field; degrees in Industrial Engineering are also considered
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance within food processing, poultry processing, or industrial manufacturing environments
•Strong knowledge of processing plant machinery, utilities systems (boilers, refrigeration, water treatment), and farm equipment
•Proven experience in preventive and predictive maintenance systems and maintenance management software (CMMS)
•Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams in a high-demand operational environment
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure
•Solid understanding of health, safety, and biosecurity standards within poultry or food production environments
