Our client is a leading Large company in the field of Industrial Group (Manufacturing FMCG Food and Non Food). We are seeking a visionary, high-caliber professional to step into the role of Group Procurement Director. Based in Jeddah, this executive will drive strategic sourcing, optimize complex supply chains, and lead procurement operations across multiple business units.
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management: Develop and execute comprehensive long-term procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend tailored specifically to food and non-food FMCG manufacturing.
Supplier Relationship & Risk Management: Establish, evaluate, and manage strategic relationships with local and international suppliers to secure supply chain resilience, competitive pricing, and strict adherence to quality and food safety standards.
Cost Optimization & Value Engineering: Drive cost-containment initiatives and continuous improvement programs across the group to achieve significant, measurable savings without compromising product quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with manufacturing plants, QA, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless inventory flow, forecast accuracy, and optimal working capital.
Team Leadership & Capacity Building: Mentor and develop a high-performing, centralized procurement team, instilling strict performance metrics (KPIs) aligned with corporate benchmarks.
Contract Negotiation & Governance: Spearhead high-stakes contract negotiations for major group expenditures, ensuring robust legal terms, compliance with KSA laws, and corporate governance protocols.
Process Digitalization: Drive the implementation and optimization of advanced procurement systems, ERP modules, and e-sourcing tools to elevate transaction efficiency and data transparency.
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 15+ years of progressive procurement experience, with a heavy emphasis on F&B manufacturing and FMCG operations.
Market Knowledge: Deep, verifiable experience navigating the KSA market dynamics, regulations, and local supply base.
Languages: Complete fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Work Schedule & Availability: 6 working days per week. Preferred joining time is immediately or within 30 days.
Location & Hiring Scope: Based in Jeddah, KSA. Open only to candidates currently residing inside Saudi Arabia.
