GIS Technical Sales Specialist
Are you a geospatial expert who loves solving client puzzles and closing deals? We’re looking for a
GIS Technical Sales Specialist to bridge the gap between complex geospatial tech and real-world business solutions. In this role, you won't just sell software; you'll partner with corporate clients to transform their operations using GIS.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive Growth: Cultivate relationships with existing accounts and hunt for new business through networking, research, and industry events.
- Consult & Consult: Dive deep into client workflows to recommend the perfect GIS solutions, software, and digital transformation services.
- Pitch & Propose: Craft and deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and winning commercial proposals.
- Bridge the Gap: Work hand-in-hand with our internal tech, finance, and operations teams to ensure flawless project delivery.
- Manage the Pipeline: Keep our CRM updated, track your sales pipeline, and stay ahead of market trends and competitor moves.
What We’re Looking For:
- The Background: Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (an MBA is a sweet bonus!).
- The Track Record: 4–6 years of experience in GIS technical sales, solutions consulting, or geospatial account management.
- The Toolkit: Solid knowledge of GIS platforms, a knack for proposal writing, sharp negotiation skills, and experience with CRMs (like Salesforce or Pipedrive).
- The Mindset: A mix of technical grit and commercial hustle. You know how to manage multiple priorities and hit targets without breaking a sweat.
