Our client is a leading Large company in the field of Manufacturing / FMCG Food and Non-Food. We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Group Sales & Marketing Director to join their executive team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the ideal candidate will be a strong turnaround leader with extensive experience navigating large-scale organizations. You will be responsible for driving commercial growth, transforming sales strategies, and elevating brand presence across both food and non-food FMCG sectors within the Saudi market.
Strategic Commercial Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive, long-term sales and marketing strategies aligned with the group’s financial and growth objectives.
Market & Brand Transformation: Lead turnaround initiatives to optimize brand positioning, expand market share, and drive revenue growth in both food and non-food portfolios.
Sales & Distribution Management: Oversee entire traditional, modern trade, and wholesale distribution channels across Saudi Arabia, ensuring maximum product penetration and availability.
P&L and Budget Accountability: Manage the commercial department’s budget, pricing strategies, and P&L targets to maximize profitability and return on investment (ROI).
Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and regulatory bodies within the region.
Team Leadership & Capability Building: Mentor, inspire, and scale a high-performing, bilingual sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Market Intelligence & Innovation: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify new product development (NPD) and market expansion opportunities.
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, with a proven track record in a large-scale FMCG manufacturing environment.
Market Knowledge: Deep, localized expertise in the Saudi Arabian FMCG market is essential; previous exposure to multinational company structures is a significant advantage.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
Work Schedule: 6 working days per week.
Availability: Immediately or within a 30-day notice period.
Location/Mobility: Candidates must currently reside Inside Saudi Arabia.
