Our client is a leading large company in the field of services. They are looking to hire an experienced Internal Audit Manager to independently oversee and add objective value to their corporate operations by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Audit Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive annual, risk-based internal audit plan tailored to the services sector to evaluate the efficiency of business controls.
Direct Reporting to the Committee: Prepare and present detailed, objective audit reports, findings, and strategic recommendations directly to the Audit Committee.
Risk Management Evaluation: Assess organization-wide risk exposures and evaluate the effectiveness of management’s risk mitigation strategies and internal control frameworks.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure business operations align strictly with Saudi Arabian laws, industry regulations, corporate governance standards, and internal policies.
Operational Audits & Investigations: Conduct thorough reviews of financial records, operational workflows, and service delivery performance, leading special fraud or compliance investigations when necessary.
Corrective Action Tracking: Monitor and verify the timely implementation of management action plans resolved from past audit findings.
Team Guidance & External Liaison: Coordinate audit activities smoothly with external auditors, regulatory inspectors, and internal department heads.
Nationality: Saudi National (Mandatory).
Experience: Minimum 12 plus years of total experience in auditing, with at least 2 to 3 years explicitly assumed in a managerial position.
Education: Minimum BA in Finance or Accounting. A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) degree is highly preferred.
Languages: Good command of the English language.
