    Description: Our client is a confidential VIP private residence based in Doha, Qatar, seeking an experienced and highly organized Palace Manager / Private Residence Manager to oversee the full day-to-day operations of a large private household. The role requires a discreet, service-oriented, and hands-on professional capable of ensuring the smooth operation of all household, hospitality, maintenance, staff, family support, transportation, and administrative functions. The successful candidate will have strong experience managing private residences, VIP households, luxury hospitality operations, estate operations, or high-standard facilities environments. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, leadership, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and service providers while maintaining the highest standards of comfort, efficiency, and professionalism. Position Summary The Palace Manager / Private Residence Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete operations of the private residence and ensuring that all household functions are managed efficiently and according to the standards expected within a VIP environment. The successful candidate will supervise household staff, coordinate hospitality and private events, oversee maintenance and facilities, manage vendors and service providers, monitor household expenses and contracts, and ensure effective coordination of family-related requirements. The role requires a mature, proactive, and highly reliable professional who can manage both people and operations, anticipate operational needs, resolve issues before they escalate, and maintain complete confidentiality regarding the family, residence, guests, and private matters. Core Responsibilities
    1. Household Operations Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the private residence and ensure all household functions run smoothly.
    • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, service, and presentation throughout the residence.
    • Ensure household routines, schedules, and service standards are consistently followed.
    • Serve as the main point of coordination between the principals, household staff, vendors, and external service providers.
    1. Hospitality, Kitchen & Private Events
    • Supervise kitchen operations, chefs, service staff, and food preparation standards.
    • Coordinate meals, hospitality arrangements, family gatherings, formal hosting, and private events.
    • Ensure professional and discreet preparation for guests, receptions, and special occasions.
    • Monitor food supplies, kitchen inventory, menus, hygiene standards, and service quality.
    1. Household Staff Management
    • Manage and supervise domestic workers, cleaners, chefs, drivers, gardeners, nannies, and other household support staff.
    • Organize staff schedules, duties, attendance, performance, and daily assignments.
    • Maintain effective communication, discipline, coordination, and professional conduct among household staff.
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance follow-up when required.
    1. Family & Children Support Coordination
    • Coordinate with nannies, tutors, teachers, and education-related service providers.
    • Ensure children’s schedules, lessons, activities, and support arrangements are properly organized.
    • Maintain effective coordination between household staff and family-related requirements.
    1. Maintenance & Facilities Management
    • Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance requirements.
    • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed on time.
    • Coordinate with technicians, contractors, suppliers, and maintenance companies.
    • Monitor the condition of household systems, equipment, appliances, and facilities.
    • Ensure the residence remains safe, functional, and maintained to the highest standards.
    1. Garden & Outdoor Areas
    • Supervise landscaping, irrigation, garden maintenance, and outdoor facilities.
    • Ensure all external areas remain clean, organized, healthy, and presentable.
    • Coordinate with gardeners and landscaping contractors to maintain required standards.
    1. Vehicles & Transportation
    • Oversee the servicing, maintenance, cleaning, registration, and readiness of family vehicles.
    • Coordinate with drivers, workshops, dealerships, and insurance providers.
    • Ensure vehicles remain safe, clean, properly maintained, and available according to the family’s requirements.
    1. Administration, Expenses & Vendor Management
    • Monitor household bills, utilities, subscriptions, service contracts, and payments.
    • Maintain accurate records of household expenses, maintenance works, vendor agreements, and service schedules.
    • Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and external service providers.
    • Obtain quotations, compare providers, and monitor service quality and cost efficiency.
    1. Confidentiality & VIP Service Standards
    • Maintain complete confidentiality regarding the family, residence, guests, staff, and private matters.
    • Handle all responsibilities with discretion, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
    • Ensure household operations consistently reflect the service standards expected within a VIP private residence.
    Qualifications & Experience
    • Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in private household management, palace management, luxury hospitality, facilities management, or estate operations.
    • Previous experience working with VIP families, royal households, family offices, luxury hotels, or high-net-worth individuals is strongly preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
    • Strong leadership and staff management capabilities.
    • Good understanding of household maintenance, hospitality standards, facilities operations, and vendor coordination.
    • Ability to manage multiple departments and operational priorities simultaneously.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of discretion, reliability, trustworthiness, and professionalism.
    • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
