Our client is a prominent, medium-sized Asset Management firm specializing in comprehensive investment strategies, including Real Estate, Equity Investments, Fixed Income, Alternatives, Wealth Management, and Arrangement & Advisory services. Positioned for strategic portfolio growth and product expansion across the GCC and international markets, the firm is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Investment Officer (CIO) / Head of Products & Asset Management to lead overall investment strategy, oversee product development, and direct multi-asset portfolio execution. Key Responsibilities
- Product Development & Structuring: Design, structure, and launch innovative investment products across Real Estate, Equities, Fixed Income, and Alternatives.
- Portfolio & Asset Management: Direct strategic asset allocation, optimize portfolio performance, and manage risk parameters across all funds.
- Deal Sourcing & Execution: Oversee transaction deal flow, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution for corporate advisory.
- Investment Committee Oversight: Present investment strategies, fund proposals, and performance reports directly to the Board and Investment Committee.
- Risk Management & Fiduciary Compliance: Ensure all asset management strategies align strictly with regulatory guidelines and enterprise risk frameworks.
- Market Intelligence & Research: Conduct macro and micro-economic assessments to capture emerging investment trends and asset classes.
- Investment Team Leadership: Lead, train, and direct asset managers, financial analysts, and product specialists toward technical excellence.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 12–15+ years of senior executive experience in product structuring, portfolio management, and asset management leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CFA or CAIA charter status is mandatory.
- Specific Skills: Expertise in asset management, portfolio management, product structuring, corporate finance, deal execution, and valuation.
- Languages: English fluency required; Arabic fluency is a strong advantage.
- Location/Mobility: Based in or willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar
