  Our client is a leading Large company in the field of FMCG Distribution based in Doha, Qatar. Known for its extensive market reach and operational excellence, the organization is seeking an experienced, bilingual finance professional to oversee financial operations and drive fiscal performance.

  ey Responsibilities (Main Tasks)

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial modeling to support strategic business decisions.
  2. FMCG Cost & Margin Control: Manage commercial finance operations, product costing, promotional spend evaluation, rebate accounting, and channel/brand profitability analysis across the distribution network.
  3. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management: Monitor credit risk, optimize inventory valuation/holding costs, manage payables/receivables cycles, and maintain robust liquidity planning.
  4. Financial Reporting & IFRS Compliance: Direct month-end and year-end financial closures, preparing consolidated financial statements and reporting packs in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
  5. ERP & Process Optimization: Oversee the integrity and daily utilization of enterprise financial modules (Oracle or tier-one ERP), automating accounting workflows and strengthening internal control environments.
  6. Audit & Statutory Relations: Serve as the primary liaison for external and internal auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies in Qatar, ensuring zero non-compliance.
  7. Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Presentation: Synthesize complex financial performance metrics into high-impact management decks and presentations for the Group CFO and executive leadership.

  Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 12+ years of progressive financial accounting and commercial finance experience, with substantial exposure to the FMCG / Distribution sector.
  • Systems & Tools: Demonstrated hands-on expertise with advanced ERP systems (such as Oracle ERP) alongside advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint (executive decks).
  • Languages: Fully bilingual in Arabic and English (spoken, written, and professional presentation).
