  Our client is a leading company in the retail sector, seeking to hire an experienced Category Manager to manage and develop product categories, drive sales and profitability, and support sustainable business growth.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and market insights to identify industry and consumer trends.
  • Develop long-term strategies for product category growth.
  • Develop exit strategies for underperforming products.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors to achieve competitive pricing and quality services.
  • Ensure product availability by placing appropriate orders based on consumer demand.
  • Determine category positioning to maximize visibility and consumer appeal.
  • Work closely with marketing teams on pricing and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand and optimize product categories.
  • Forecast product demand to maintain sustainable inventory levels.
  • Take responsibility for category budgets and revenue performance.

  Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Category Manager or in a similar role.
  • Experience in Category Management, preferably within Perfumes, Beauty, Luxury, or FMCG.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier-management experience.
  • Strong understanding of sales, margins, profitability, and category growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
