  Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Technology Leadership: Define and execute the enterprise tech roadmap, architecture standards, and IT governance; advise executive leadership on digital transformation, emerging tech (AI/ML), and strategic investments.
  • Engineering & Architecture: Lead software development, microservices, and system integration; institute agile engineering practices, CI/CD, DevOps, and high quality-assurance standards.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Oversee cloud strategy (AWS/Azure/GCP), capacity planning, disaster recovery, and system resilience to ensure maximum uptime and seamless scalability.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Enforce robust security frameworks, data privacy, identity management, and risk mitigations across all platforms.
  • Operations & Cost Optimization: Establish performance KPIs, manage vendor and partner relationships, and optimize infrastructure and licensing budgets.
  • Team Leadership & Executive Collaboration: Recruit, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering and DevOps teams; partner closely with the Chief Product Officer and business leaders to translate product vision into deliverable software.

  Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: 15+ years in software engineering and enterprise architecture, with proven executive experience (CTO, VP of Engineering, or equivalent).
  • Domain Expertise: Track record of scaling digital platforms within EdTech (LMS/e-learning), FinTech (payments/banking platforms), or IT Services.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, APIs, enterprise databases, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and security best practices.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (Master's preferred).
  • Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage).

  Preferred Certifications:

  • AWS / Azure / GCP Professional Cloud Architect
  • CISSP or TOGAF Certification
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
