• Description:
  • Ensure that the costing of the company products is well accounted for by allocating all manufacturing expenses to the products as per the available ERP setup in addition of doing cost variances analysis.
  • Ensure that the accounting department is in full compliance with financial reporting deadlines and policy and procedures. (Compliance to month end closing procedures and deadlines.)
  • Ensure that the accounting department is implementing the Accruals accounting base and ensure that the costing of the company products process is in line with that base.
  • Review the monthly and annually financial reporting packages prepared by GL / supervisor / chief accountant and recommend areas of improvement when necessary.
  • Review and discuss the monthly results and performance of the company through regular meetings with
  • department’s heads and general manager to understand the performance and put action plan to improve the results toward achieving company objectives.
  • Review, Explain , provides justification of variances ( Act. Vs. Budget and vs. last year ) and approve financial notes, disclosures, after month end closing and send financial reports to direct manager / General manager and finally to shareholders and other internal or external parties.
  • Preparing the detailed annual Budget with other company functions as per company budget policy and procedure.
  • Ensure compliance to the company Finance and business policies and procedures to enhance applied internal controls in all departments..
  • Facilitate the external auditors, and internal audit tasks'.
  • Maintain good relations with banks to ensure adequate protection of company funds.
  • Ensure preparing continuous rolling cash flow forecast on a monthly basis to manage the cash of the company to avoid any cash shortage.
  • Ensure that the company chart of account is up to date and reflect the need of the business.
  • Lead, supervise and coach the accounting department in a proper way to achieve department objectives.
  • Perform the assigned duties as per company organization structure successfully.
  • Best utilize time in the department effectively and efficiently.
  • To ensure a high level of information confidentiality in the finance department.
  • Show very high and complete disclosure to top management especially to Direct manager CFO.
  • To ensure a positive dialogue and relationship with GM, direct reports, the accounting department team and other colleagues and departments in the company to support the business.
  • To ensure that the finance staff is well educated, well trained in house and provide them with all necessary training courses as per company training and development plans.
