  The candidate will be reporting to the General manager and will be responsible for factory operation and maintenance, and establishing maintenance factory policies and procedures and flow charts, maintaining plant production lines, foster a well-trained and motivated staff in Maintenance Department. The candidate must have a minimum of 10 yearsexperience handling maintenance in a DAIRY processing plant. Expert in Tetra Pak 19, 22, aseptic, Gable top fillers, Tetra Top fillers, Gasti pot fillers, Bottles Fillers, Tetra Flex Process aseptic, APV tube processing, Tetra Drink, APV Juice, PMO pasteurizers, CIP systems. He must demonstrates an excellent leadership, time management, organizational and reporting skills. He must demonstrate Superior Level Communication, Analytical and Management skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Plan, organize and review maintenance schedules, shift working and related activities within the maintenance department.
  2. Advise on relevant maintenance updating.
  3. Monitor and control maintenance standards.
  4. Ensure that the department meets established budget requirements.
  5. Ensure effective staff training is carried out and to control the discipline and motivation of personnel within the department.
  6. Investigate and resolve technical problems.
  7. Establish with production department agreed planned services.
  8. Keep abreast of and advise management on technical developments within your field.
  9. Control and minimize incidence of wastage within the department.
  10. Organize own work schedules and to be available when necessary to match production requirements.
  11. Ensure that all company policies are fully implemented particularly hygiene, health and safety.
  12. Review methods of operation and working practices and make recommendations to management.
  13. To encourage harmonious working relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the department.
  14. To review the maintenance staff on a yearly basis and advise of training needs.
  15. Other duties as may become necessary to effectively perform this role.
