    Position Summary: The Maintenance Planning and Condition Monitoring Senior Engineer is a member of the Maintenance Planning and Condition Monitoring Section – Maintenance Department with specific responsibilities for the implementation of the Plant Maintenance Planning & Condition Monitoring Program and Procedures as Guided by the Section Head and the Department Manager. Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Acts as a motivated team member to effectively assist the completion of planned and break down Maintenance activities to achieve the target availability and reliability of Plant Equipments.
    • Accountable for ensuring that the highest standards of safety and housekeeping are achieved by contractors.
    • Accountable to assist for preparing all the company standard maintenance procedures (SMP) related to his area of experience and responsibility.
    • Prepare (under guidance from the Section Head) and Implement all the Preventive / Predictive Maintenance Procedures and techniques set by the company and as guided by the Management.
    • Implement the Condition Monitoring Procedures including but not limited to vibration data collection and analysis of assigned plant equipment’s, Thermographic images of running equipment’s including the analysis of these images, assist the required analysis for oil samples for Transformers and Main Equipments.
    • Support the section head and other section members in planning and implementing the annual and/or any planned outage plan.
    • Assist and participate in the data collection phase of the Plant CMMS System (MAXIMO) and finally assist the data uploading process.
    • Guide and Supervise the subordinates and subcontractors in any assigned job related to his area of responsibility.
    • Responsible for undertaking other related duties / assignments within his roles and responsibilities as required by the Section Head and the Maintenance Manager.
    Education and Experience:
    • Engineering degree with minimum eight years of experience in a related field preferably in Maintenance Planning and/or Equipments condition monitoring.
    • Fluent to comprehend, speak, read and write English.
    • Demonstrates strong communication skills and abilities to control sub-contractors.
    • A certification in any condition monitoring tools is an advantage.
    Standards of Performance:
    • The Management has specific expectations for the performance of all members of the Operatingand Maintenance teams. These expectations set the standards for individual performance.Failure to perform to these basic standards represents a failure to meet the requirements of theposition.
    The standards include:
    • Punctuality, report to work on time and limit rest and break periods to the time prescribed.
    • Initiative acts when needed to correct deficiencies and resolve problems without the specific direction of your supervisor.
    • Communication, clearly documents and tells others about plant conditions and personnelissues that may affect overall performance.
    • Quality, the quality of work performed shall meet the standards without error, without the need to repeat the work and like new construction.
    • Responsibility takes responsibility for your actions and the actions of your team.
    • Productivity keeps busy; do not waste your time or others’ time.
