Position Summary: The Document Control Technician is a member of the Quality Department with specific responsibilities for the implementation and compliance of the Plant document control procedures.Will ensure that all documents are correctly received, controlled and that controlled copies are distributed to the agreed points of reference. Will work closely with all the Plant teams to ensure the availability and integrity of all plant documentation, and ensure the document control center is kept clean and free of any flammable sources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as a motivated team member to effectively Maintain and Control all the plant technical documents including establishment of the Document Control Procedure.
- Controlling, distributing and monitoring of all documents.
- Responsible for the tidiness and cleanliness of the Archive / Document Control Center with all the documents in place and easy to track and find.
- Establishes administrative system and procedures for processing, distributing, retrieving, and providing central control of documents.
- Establishes and maintain the document control center for handling all engineering documents and communication.
- Ensures that documents are processed (logged, distributed, archived turned over or destroyed).
- Maintains control logs for drawings, controlled correspondence and drawing change notices
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum diploma holder with minimum three years of experience in a related field.
- Possess knowledge in ISO9001 system.
- Higher education degree is an advantage.
- Possess an internal auditor certificate for ISO9001system is an advantange.
- Fluent to comprehend, speak, read and write English.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills.
