Laboratory QA/QC Engineer Minimum Qualification
- BSc in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in quality management specially in ISO 9001 & ISO 17025
Skills & Abilities
- Fluent English Level
- High level of computer literacy
- Ability to write clear and concise reports.
- The Laboratory QAQC Engineer is accountable for the controlling and maintaining compliance of the quality measurement process in the lab is performed according to the agreed processes and standards and documented as required, to maintain the all-time valid Accreditation of the Laboratory.
- Provide daily & weekly reports for work progress, samples testing quality performed by the staff and any issue related to the work or samples quality
- Investigate data integrity non-conformances and verify compliance with agreed corrective actions.
- Ensure maintenance, troubleshooting, calibrations and quality control standards are being performed and documented.
- Identify quality issues and investigate procedures that will improve the laboratory quality system.
- Perform internal quality audits with the support of the senior lab engineers and ensure lab preparation for external audits.
- Ensure correct quality control measures are in place for new instrument/analysis.
- Ensure laboratory quality manuals are up to date and initiate required modifications.
- Ensure training records are completed and up to date.
Working Conditions The job location in the Attarat Oil Shale Mine in Attarat Um Ghudran Area, 40 km to the east of Al-Qatrana.
