  Stacker Operator mainly will be responsible for operating the Stacker at Fuel Yard and performing daily check up on the Stacker. Duties and Responsibilities

  1. To operate the Stacker at Fuel Yard.
  2. To perform routine inspection on Stacker such as hydraulic system, boom belt system, travelling system etc.
  3. Work closely with maintenance teams in order to maintain high availability of the oil shale handling Equipment. Isolate process (log out, tag out) parts for maintenance purposes, when required.
  4. Assign work orders for equipment maintenance purposes in the mine’s maintenance system Maximo independently or by providing input for the shift supervisor.
  5. Participate all the trainings and courses as instructed by the upper management.
  6. Provide input for daily shift reports and other reports as required from time to time.
  7. Record and maintain log sheets for operations activities and equipment.
  8. Follow operational and safety manual, handbook, instructions and guidelines for the Fuel Yard Operations.
  9. Report immediately all impropriate behaviour or actions that can jeopardize safety, health or environment to shift supervisor.
  10. Participate risk assessments and HSE investigations related to Fuel Yard Operations when required. Ensure actions noted in the risk assessment have been executed.
  11. Participate Fuel Yard Operations development projects as required from time to time.
  12. Perform other related project tasks as required and other related operational tasks as instructed by upper management from time to time.
  13. Assist to supervise critical operational activities such start-ups and shutdowns and provide technical guidance to DCS and field operators during that.
  14. Maintain good housekeeping and keep all the equipment in good order at all areas.

  Minimum Qualification

  • Diploma in Mining Engineering or relevant field with minimum 5 years of experience in mines or heavy industry operations.

  Specialized knowledge

  • Operates Stacker machine in a safe, efficient and proper manner.
  • Verify stacker machine placement accuracy for efficient work.
  • Responsible for the availability and operational effectiveness of the conveyor systems.
  • Providing/Obtaining information instruction to/from control room operator.
