Position Summary:
The Maintenance Planning and Condition Monitoring Junior Engineer is a member of the Maintenance Planning and Condition Monitoring Section – Maintenance Department with specific responsibilities for the implementation of the Plant Maintenance Planning & Condition Monitoring Program and Procedures as Guided by the Section Head and the Department Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Acts as a motivated team member to effectively assist the completion of planned and break down Maintenance activities to achieve the target availability and reliability of Plant Equipments.

Accountable for ensuring that the highest standards of safety and housekeeping are achieved by contractors.

Strictly following all the company standard maintenance procedures (SMP) and safety instructions including risk assessments and safety procedures.

Implement all the Preventive / Predictive Maintenance Procedures and techniques set by the company and as guided by the Management.

Implement the Condition Monitoring Procedures including but not limited to vibration data collection and analysis of assigned plant equipment’s, Thermographic images of running equipment’s including the analysis of these images and collecting the required oil samples for Transformers and Main Equipments condition analysis.

Support the section head and other section members in planning and implementing the annual and/or any planned outage plan.

Assist and participate in the data collection phase of the Plant CMMS System (MAXIMO) and finally assist the data uploading process.

Responsible for undertaking other related duties / assignments within his roles and responsibilities as required by the Section Head and the Maintenance Manager.
Qualification and Experience:

Engineering Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical with minimum three years of experience in a related field preferably in Maintenance Planning and/or Equipments condition monitoring.

Fluent to comprehend, speak, read and write English.

Demonstrates strong communication skills and abilities to control sub-contractors.

A certification in any condition monitoring tools is an advantage.
