  Job Description Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for overall maintenance of steam turbine generator & Auxiliaries and all balance of plant in 2 x 270 MW Oil shale fired power plant is main responsibility.
  • leading and supporting engineers and other staff within the section.
  • Ensuring that the highest standards of safety and good housekeeping are achieved in maintenance works.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions and in coordination with the maintenance supervisor and maintenance engineers within the section.
  • Helping and supporting in maintaining spares inventory and ensuring that adequate spares are stocked to support maintenance activities.
  • Supporting the Maintenance Engineers in the preparation, control of budgets, and technical reports.
  • Ensure that high standards of safety and quality are met.
  • Maintain accurate and complete maintenance records for the work performed at the Turbine and BOP.
  • Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and support of Maximo.
  • Responsible for undertaking other related duties within the roles and responsibilities as required by the Maintenance Engineer.

  Qualification and Experiences required:

  • Incumbent must Possess a Diploma from an accredited university in Mechanical / production Engineering.
  • Must have 10 -20 years of experience (Senior) or 3 -8 years experience (Junior).
  • Have at least > 5-7 years of experience in steam turbine and auxiliary’s maintenance in > 150-200 MW capacity Power Generation units, process plants.
  • Fluent in English with oral communication skills.
  • Maintenance experience of rotating equipment - Fans and Blowers, pumps, safety valves, actuators, control and isolating valves etc.
  • Skills required includes alignment, precision measurement, general structure welding works, use of workshop equipment.
