  Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Look after the whole management information system of the organization and handle it with tact and leadership skills
  2. Make sure that the executives managers across the company are getting the information they demand by implementing the proper enterprise application that will serve them for this manner.
  3. Build applications high availability and disaster recovery architecture
  4. Manage the policies, procedures and legal requirements for the information which is used for doing daily routine work.
  5. Coordinates, manage and tracks the BIS project activities and schedules, ensure the resources are utilized in a proper way.
  6. Manage business requirements, change management and continues improvements activities.
  7. Evaluates new information systems products and emerging trends in the IT field and recommends changes to existing products
  8. Ensures products and solutions are applied in a manner that maximizes usefulness for all users.
  9. Manage enterprise applications, especially SAP ERP applications across the company
  10. Make rotation between staff to ensure larger staff support and continuity
  11. Responsible of maintaining internal communication to achieve the effective integration of work, and develop an external network of professional / technical contacts to maintain an up to date knowledge of technical developments and build positive relationships with suppliers
  12. Requirement to motivate a large team of direct and indirect reports to achieve technological excellence and client satisfaction as per standards adopted
  13. Controls revenue expenditure according to approved budgets and authority levels. The position also involves evaluating and recommending investment for new technologies to derive maximum efficiencies

  Responsible of recruiting, training, motivating and developing of group IT staff to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximise their potential and contribution to the group. Skills

  • Good command of both Arabic and English languages
  • Problem solving; analytical skills; presentation skills; planning and organizing skills.
  • Commitment to quality of service and focus on maximizing accessibility of IT systems.
  • A strong commercial focus to identify and recommend new technologies that will enable cost optimization.
  • The ability to manage multi projects at the same time
  • Experience in SAP ERP, Value Chain Planning,3rd parties integration and business intelligence applications

  Ability to handle stress situations pertaining to BIS operations.
