• Description:
  Maintains the cost control portion of the companies Integrated Control System to provide project management, as well as the department and Company management, with the necessary tools for project cost control. May participate in the development of the work breakdown structure, interfacing with Procurement, Engineering, and Finance Departments. Prepares and processes input to the cost control system for all cost reports Reporting directly to the Senior Cost Control Engineer. Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake cost control activities of the project to ensure costs are within the project budget
  • Coordinate all cost control functions for all project team ensuring that Specs, Standards, budget are being met while monitoring and reporting all processes relating to all activities on the project for management decision making
  • Ensure accurate, reliable and complete project cost control system are implemented for the budgeting, tracking, change control and forecasting of all project costs
  • Assist in developing and managing project budget, in consultation with project manager and project team
  • Recommend solutions to address cost impacts
  • Monitor the status of allocation and expenditures of project commitments
  • Prepare documentations to support scope changes in relation to budget, estimate and forecast
