  FOR CANDIDATES INSIDE QATAR ONLY Principal Duties / Responsibility / Accountability:

  • Review of design drawings and design calculations reports of the Process, HVAC and the plumbing of the pump stations.
  • Extraction of engineering information from design calculation reports and drawings, preparation of material submittals, shop drawings and method statements for permanent works.
  • To ensure use of proper safety procedures/policies while carrying out work activities as per company safety policy and to undertake safety responsibilities.
  • Review supplier material and commercial submittals and perform technical and commercial bid analysis.
  • Liaise with the Procurement Manager to ensure timely delivery of equipment and material to support site installation works as per the approved work program.
  • Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers and Drafters.
  • Coordinate with the civil team to incorporate the required openings and sleeve pipes for electro mechanical services.
  • Design of runner way beams for the overhead crane and pipe supports for the pump stations.
  • Perform design calculations for pump selection, process and ventilation to verify the design and sizing of the equipment.
  • Preparing the list of project’s deliverables including base design package, specification datasheets followed my mechanical calculations verifications, studies/reports.
  • Comply with company’s IMS Policy and other related regulations.
  • Assists QHSE Department in implementing IMS and other procedures to ensure all works are doing in a safe way to prevent injury, environmental pollution, and occupational health hazard, and property damage.
  • Attends induction, tool box, weekly meeting, in-house and third-party trainings.
  • Shares in preparing Risk Assessments, JSA and Environmental Aspects and Impacts, Risk and Opportunity and implementing its control measures.
  • Provides necessary support and resources to other Departments in order to execute the task in safe and efficient manner.
  • Approves site employee’s HSE performance assessment with the HSE Supervisor/Officer for awarding.
  • Member of investigation team in-case of incident in the site with other investigation team.
  • Use full and proper PPE and safety equipment on site.
  • Accountable for his personal safety and that of all personnel under his or her authority, including others who may be affected by the company’s activities.
