  Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Play a leadership role for formulating the Strategy and Vision of Information Technology within the company Group of companies.
  • Understand the information requirements of the business and proactively contribute IT solutions to address them.
  • Advise senior management and departments heads on Information Strategy to enable use of new and emerging technologies.
  • Advise senior management on utilizing Information Technology to enable delivery of competitive advantage to the company.
  • Enable use of technology to drive and create revenue and positive business outcomes for the company.
  • Ensure the availability of all business information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure efficient and seamless flow of information between the various company entities as needed.
  • Ensure the utilization of best and cost-effective technologies in the Technology Infrastructure of the group.
  • Co-ordinate with IT Managers subsidiaries to ensure presence of validated Disaster Recovery processes.
  • Co-ordinate with IT Managers subsidiaries to ensure presence of procedures to safeguard company and group data.
  • Ensure proper data governance procedures to ensure that Data Privacy guidelines and compliance requirements are satisfied correctly.
  • Ensure proper planning to deal with security threats to the information and technology infrastructure.
  • Ensure that IT Team members in all company subsidiaries are enabled to deliver best in class IT services to the company.
  • Ensure the availability of tools and technologies to enable efficiency and productivity in the workplace.
  • Plan strategy to address digital skills gaps of staff especially in areas related to remote working.
  • Create a culture of learning and development on utilizing IT within the group.

  Requirements:

  • At least 5 years in IT management position and 10 years in IT.
  • Experience with Infor M3 is a plus.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and be proficient at managing teams.
  • Must be willing to travel as and when required.
  • Willing to learn and develop himself/herself.
  • Gives the right directions.
  • Thinks strategically.
  • Can make others believe in his/her dream for the organization.
