  • The General Manager will report directly to Corporate Chief Operations Manager as well as to CEO and will be responsible for overseeing all Landscaping operations by managing all commercial activities and defining strategic objectives and business plans to provide maximum profit and return on investment. Also, he will be expected to represent the company strategy and points of view to local clients and enrich the company’s strategies and plans. As an experienced landscaping business executive, he will direct all site construction activates and personnel through maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality and cost control with full profit & loss responsibility.

  • Principal Accountabilities & responsibilities:
    • Conceptualize and lead overall landscaping operations and developing strategic business plan and thorough study of the local market and financial opportunities.
    • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, funders and community leaders in order to gain mutual benefits.
    • Manage P&L, Balance sheet performance and driving overall profitability of the company.
    • Develop operation plans, annual budgets and measuring progress on an ongoing basis.
    • Confer with Chief Executive Officer and stakeholders to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives.
    • Manage and direct overall project operations with the Operations Manager, Project Managers and Engineers, validating scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Plan and manage the operations team development and resource allocation.
    • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the development of the project.
    • Business Development and; building new suppliers, sub-contractors and client relationships.
    • Set goals for each department and act as a navigator or visionary to lead a team of dynamic and innovative professionals.
    • Be responsible to secure effective management of the projects.
    • Attract and develop talent pool and organization efficiency.
    • Promote a friendly climate, good morale and cooperation.
    • Create strong team spirit.
    • Protect and promote company reputation.
    • Ensure business processes, tools, and internal controls to support operations.
    • Be responsible for capital investment planning and control and implement business excellence.

    • Assume responsibility for ensuring business compliance with company initiatives and guidelines, including quality, health and safety and accounting procedures.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Engineering with at least 15 - 18 years’ experience working at senior level.
    • PMP Certified with proven experience in Landscaping works in Qatar or GCC region.
    • A proven experience of at least 8 years in GM role working with board of directors.
    • Knowledge in domestic MMUPD laws and strong experience in managing multiple landscaping projects.
    • Demonstrated success in project management and team execution.
    • Excellent communications skills in English & Arabic speaker.
