• Description:
  • To maximise project margin and add value to the construction process by proactive involvement in procurement, cost management and reporting. To drive best value from suppliers. To carry out monthly financial reviews on projects and forecast final outturn values for cost, sales and margin. Maximise value of monthly applications and measurement and submission of contract variations. Timely submission and negotiation of final accounts to the client / main contractor.

  • Contract Surveying:
    • To carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales.
    • Manage Technical and Commercial matters reporting to General Manager.
    • Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts.
    • Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
    • Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
    • Prepare submit and negotiate project final accounts.
    • Commercial vetting of sub contractor tenders and contracts.
    • Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
    • Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level.
    • Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.

  • Job Description:
  • In charge for monitoring Sales team activities, customer follow ups and lead generations.
  • Inspections or site surveys.
  • Maintaining the customer relationships through direct meetings & communications
  • Preparation of Quotations / Tenders to the Project Enquiries and follow ups till Techno-Commercial Approvals
  • Preparation of all technical submittals as Pre-Qualifications, Material Submittals & Method Statement, ITP, etc.
  • Conduct the value Engineering & Design selections to execute the project within the targets and set budgets.
  • Representing Company in meetings with Main Contractors, Consultants and Clients in terms of Specification review, Design Selection, tendering, negotiations, planning and execution stages.
  • Preparation / Review of the BOQs, estimations and costing on tenders/quotations prior to the management approvals.
  • Technical support to the field team, presentations, etc
  • Monthly invoice preparation, submission and follow-up with clients till the payment done.
  • To provide field and back office supports to all running projects and tenders in Technical & Commercial aspects
  • Negotiations with the customers on Commercial & Technical offers and submissions
  • Procurement of Materials after value engineering and as per the project specs and approvals.
  • Vendor Registrations & Pre-qualifications with Government firms and with Main Contractors.
  • Preparation of Cost Estimation for MEP Works (Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical) and Pricing, Rate Buildup of Materials, Labor, Plants and other misc.

  • Requirements
    • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying an accredited internationally recognized institution or University.
    • The right candidate should have minimum 5-7 years GCC experience in High Rise Towers, Industrial, Residential and Commercial Building Projects.
    • Knowledge of working with MEP based project as a Quantity surveyor.
    • Ability to recognize contractual obligations of both company and its subcontractors.
    • Knowledge of QCS (Qatar construction specification) and CESMM.
    • Good Experience in AUTO CAD/MS Office and CCS (Candy) would be preferred but not essential.
    • Able to review and measure the executed works. Good knowledge in detailed shop drawing, coordination drawings.
    • Able to act on own initiative and proactive way.
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
    • The applicants are having working knowledge in Cost Estimation in MEP works have added advantage.
