  • Reporting to the Engineering manager, leading the Civil/ Structural Dept., Producing Design Shop drawings in accordance with IFC Dwgs, Daily coordination with MEP and Arch. Dept, Daily coordination with consultant, subc. Suppliers…, producing and updating internal Schedule of submissions, issuing RFIs to Consultant/ Designer, Continuous Site Visit to keep the Site updated, Continuous Site Visit for solving pending issues in order to enhance the progress of works to ensure that all drawings are produced based on Authority Standards/ requirements, QCS and Project Specification. Designing and making full presentation for projects including coordinating between different disciplines, controlling time schedule, collecting resources and manage their capabilities. Controlling quality of the working drawings. Ensuring to follow project spec. based on ISO and International Standards + B.O.Q.

  • Study and analyze the design and IFC package.
  • Raise queries to the main designer regarding the received IFC drawings, Specifications, project documents …etc.
  • Verifying the design for the fire rating, acoustical rating, occupancy capacity, code analysis, etc.
  • Plan the submissions of shop drawings and project deliverables.
  • Conduct internal meeting within the architectural team to ensure proper coordination and work progress is as per the planned schedule
  • Conduct coordination meetings with other department to ensure the work is coordinated.

  • Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
    • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Structural.
    • MMUP Registered Engineer (UPDA) grade A design and supervision.
    • 15 years’ experience including more than 10 years in Qatar.
    • GCC experience required.
    • Broad knowledge of building codes.
    • High experience with complex projects.
