    2. JOB PURPOSE:
    The Holder role to direct and lead Company Information Technology (IT) Department on the strategic, tactical and operational perspectives. The Job Holder shall develop and implement IT strategies and operational standards according to business needs that supports the current and future business needs.
    3. JOB CONTEXT:
    The Job Holder shall direct the planning, implementation and support of Company IT services to support business operations in a cost effective, high quality, effective and efficient manner.
    4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    ❖ Strategic Support

    • Cascade business targets for the forward year to portfolios and directs allocation of operating budget / resources required for achievement of the same.
    • Participate in strategic and operational governance processes of Company as a member of the senior management team.
    • Participate in the strategic and operational planning to achieve Company goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization.
    • Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development.
    • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
    • Direct development and execution of an disaster recovery and business continuity plan in Company.

    ❖ Planning and Organizing

    1. Lead the development and implementation of annual and medium term plans and budgets which meet the IT Section Objectives.

    ❖ Policies & Procedures

    2. Develop Policies & Procedure to Ensure that the Company has the appropriate processes and systems to monitor and control its operations effectively and achieve its financial targets.

    ❖ Service Development

    • Reviews feasibility of new projects and acquires approval from the Top Management.
    • Keeps updated of market trends and researches new services to help in reviewing own strategy

    3. Direct the continuing development of the Services to meet the anticipated customer requirements and achieve the Service objectives of the Company.

    ❖ Budgeting & Cost Control

    • Formulate, develop and gain approval for IT Section budget that is aligned with the Company strategic goals.
    • Track, rectify, and follow up in adhering to budget, and propose fair justification for needed deviations, and or recommend and control solutions to overcome unaccepted or expected deviations, and provide with reports stand for.
    4. Monitors all expenses and ensures that spending is in line with approved annual budgets.

    ❖ Project Management

    - Lead the discussions and workshops with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.

    5. Review and recommend hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale.

    ❖ Operational Management, Monitoring and Reporting :

    • Manages the daily operations of the IT Section, including directing IT staff in the execution of administrative, network, communications, development, maintenance and other IT functions.
    • Maintains excellent internal customer service experiences for the provided IT services.
    • Ensure IT service operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia. Establish lines of control for current and proposed information systems.
    • Lead and direct staff on new technological advancement and provide guidance to top management regarding new technology.

    6. Monitor / guides the IT Staff in all operational issues involving efficient planning, Service analysis, co-ordination, adherence to target / work schedules, etc.

    Follows procedures of reporting on performance, budgets and other reports required from time to time to the Company CEO.
