Description:
Responsibilities
-Develop, maintain, and control project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow for MEP contracting projects across multiple work packages.
-Monitor project costs against approved budgets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions in coordination with project and commercial teams.
-Prepare and manage project schedules, progress measurement, and earned value analysis to ensure alignment with cost and time objectives.
-Evaluate subcontractor and supplier costs, assess change orders and variations, and support claims preparation and negotiations.
-Produce accurate and timely cost reports, dashboards, and management summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
-Collaborate with engineering, procurement, planning, and site teams to ensure cost-effective execution and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
-8 years of experience in cost control and project control roles within MEP contracting or related construction environments.
-Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, progress tracking, and variance analysis for large-scale MEP projects.
-Proficiency in project controls tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and cost management systems.
-Solid understanding of contracts, change management, claims, and commercial processes in construction projects.
-Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams.
