  For candidates with contracting experience , inside KSA with transferable iqama , the ideal candidate should be able to do the following: The project chief accountant position is accountable for monitoring the progress of projects,
  investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers
  and submitted to the project management along with notifying the credit control unit.
  A project chief accountant is responsible for managing all the financial information related to a
  project or projects at company. He/she keeps track of each project's expenses and provides regular
  reports on whether the project is over or under budget. He/she may also be responsible for verifying
  the costing sheet and informing managers how much a project could potentially cost and/or earn.
  Project accountants typically work indoors (inside office), work is largely mental. typically works
  during regular business hours, though special projects near completion may require longer hours on
  nights or weekends. works with a variety of colleagues within the company. He/she may obtain
  information from project managers, call logistic team for pricing, payment terms and billing concerns,
  and give instructions to team members to keep projects within budget. Good oral and written
  communication skills and effective coordination with all the departments are essential for the
  Projects Cost Accountant candidate.
  An accounting background is needed in this profession, and at least a bachelor's degree in accounting
  is must, Proficiency with accounting software such as Microsoft dynamic AX and Microsoft Excel are
  required.
