Description: E-Commerce Manager – Digital Marketing
The E-Commerce Manager will manager all activities that will increase the brand
awareness and to enhance the online revenue using Social media, Website analistic,
Google Technologies, and all other delivery and promoting Apps.
As a structured thinker, your business decisions are based on logical analysis or facts
and figures. You need to analyze the needs of the brand and tailor today’s technology to
create efficient solutions for those needs.
Description of Responsibilities
• Developing and supervising the overall operations of the website
• Contributing to the online marketing activities to raise awareness and boost ecommerce
• Providing social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination,
benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Providing social media event coverage and preparing events’ calendar
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML)
that builds meaningful connections and encourages customers to take buying action
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of
company’s social content
• Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics,
insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
• Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation,
identify key players and coordinate actions
• Assist with website development and functionality from a marketing perspective
• Create and manage the budget for the E-Commerce Department
• Conduct on-going research of other competitors’ e-commerce activities
• Ensure digital updates and email campaign elements are approved and delivered in
acceptable timeframes
• Frequently check digital assets for errors; grammatical mistakes, broken links and
technical problems
• Perform detailed feature and functionality audits across all digital platforms
• Monitor web and mobile app platforms and all other apps that make delivery services
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners as well as Milan HQ counterparts to manage
all
Background/Experience
• Fluent Arabic Language Skill
• Bachelor’s Degree in E-Commerce or relevant field (Master is Plus)
• Proven 10 years working experience in, e-commerce social media marketing, or as a
digital media specialist
• Knowledge of online marketing and sales management and good understanding of
major marketing channels,
• Web site Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
• Online site merchandising, product management.
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication
skills
